Problem Note 58128: A "Read Access Violation" error might be produced when you use PROC SGPLOT with a custom style
Error messages that include, but are not limited to, the following might be produced when you use PROC SGPLOT with a custom style to create a graph:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback information:
The SAS task name is [Submit]
ERROR: Read Access Violation Submit
Exception occurred at (067337D1)
Task Traceback
ERROR: Generic critical error.
The SAS task name is [TEMPLATE]
ERROR: Read Access Violation TEMPLATE
Exception occurred at (065837D1)
Task Traceback
The problem is most likely to occur when the style template contains a style element in which all of the necessary style attributes are not defined.
To circumvent the problem, include the FROM option in the STYLE statement in PROC TEMPLATE to reference an existing style element from which to inherit all of the necessary style attributes. For example:
proc template;
define style mystyle;
style graphcolors from graphcolors / 'gctext'=blue;
end;
run;
